100 word count

As I walk out onto the empty black stage I feel a huge weight on my shoulders, making it hard to breath. The air is cool and the judges eyes are glued to me. The microphone is standing there, helpless, until my voice fills the room. When I reach the centre of the stage, a chill manages to creep down my spine. I take a deep breath, and begin to sing. My whole career is riding on this song and I can't afford a failure. When I finish the song, my heart pumping with adrenaline, the judges whisper and murmur. Suddenly my whole body starts buzzing with nervousness and I am about to leave, but then the judges announce that I made it through! This is when I think, "Well what a start!"
